Swedish Hasbeens

If you forgive my awful photograph below of these fabulous Hasbeen Lookalikes you will see they are a perfect answer to your 'MUST HAVE' this Spring Summer! NO girl should be without a pair of these in her wardrobe and for all you Men if it take's your fancy...

I was on the trawl of the internet for the very stylish, very on trend pair of Swedish Hasbeen's when i came across a website called Lotta From Stockholm. Lotta From Stockholm have the very fabulous Clogs made for them that have a very Swedish Hasbeen look about them. They have a few styles of Clogs but these braided version really caught my eye due to the likeness of the Braid Hasbeen.

After seeing the price of £45.00 and the only difference being the shape of the under sole (the hasbeen is more right angle cut) i purchased a pair. When i received them i wasn't disappointed either!

Yes the Hasbeen is much more expensive and beautifully finished but for a 1/3 of the cost you can still have your very funky, very fashionable and very on trend version! The only thing i would say is they're a little on the large side not like the Hasbeen which are on the small side.

I must also add that these Clogs are not replicated in anyway and the company that have made them have been making them this way for years! They brought this style back from the 70s due to the popularity in Fashion.

Go check the site out

If you have any queries give them a ring. A very friendly man named Jon will help you decide.

  4. Hi Page, thank you for your compliments. I love my clogs!!! I rang Jon before i bought my clogs to ask a few questions regarding size. He was so helpful and even suggested that he would ship them out that day as i said i was hoping to get them for the saturday as i was on a night out. True to his word he got them out to me the next day. They are comfortable. the only thing i would say is they are on the big side where as Swedish Hasbeens are on the small side. If you can afford to buy a size smaller and your normal shoe size the do this for size and then send back the size that doesn't fitter later.

The colour on the one's i bought are as you see them above. The photo's are really good. I'm going to buy the Mia when they come in stock and i'm on the waiting list for them. All in all i found Lotta to be fantastic and very compromising. Infact Jon from Lotta sent me some pics of the children and a fab new colour red and a natural colour in the braids, which i may indulge in for my Jolidays! 'oh dear' i'm going to have no money to go with if i carry on like this! 'laughs'

Enjoy your clogs Page, i'm sure you'll love them!

  6. Thanks so much for all the suggestions and everything!
I emailed Jon- unfortunately the brown braided ones (are they called the Mia?) are out of stock until June 1st.. but I really want them for next week since it's my birthday.. :(
I don't know what to do- I can't decide between waiting for the brown braided ones or just getting the plain ones now..
    Any suggestions?

  7. Hiya Page

OH NO!! The brown braided one's are the one's above. Mia are the full fronted clogs with a heel on the website but they're out of stock for a while too. I really like the natural colour in the braided one's and they'd go with most outfits as they're neutral. I suppose it depends on what you will be wearing them with also and your future outfits. The red looks fab too! ooohhhh i'm no help at all am I? 'eye's roll'

  13. Yes full clogs would look great in Winter too! Also with over the knee socks but turned down to below the knee with a short skirt or shorts! :)mmmm??? Unless you get winters like we do or you do in Canada! 'laughs'

  14. Yep for sure!! Our winters are pretty bad. but I wouldn't mind wearing them inside :)
(Oh my god, I just checked the duties, and I have to pay $20 for that! so for shipping and duties/taxes, I'd have to pay more than half of the clogs worth!)..
    :(

  17. Hello!! The original clogs are not hasbeens but "Moheda Toffeln"and they are probably the cheapest you can get and the original sweedish clog!I think ive had mine for 15 years now and theyre still going strong:)if you search the swedish web for "traskor"(swedish for clogs) you might find loads more, hasbeens are really quite overpriced...
    Love from Sweden!
